Scope

This policy applies to barbaros.dev and its informational pages.

Data we collect

If you contact us, we may process your email address and the content of your message. Our servers may process basic technical logs for security and reliability (IP address, user-agent, timestamps).

Purpose

Responding to inquiries, maintaining security, preventing abuse, and improving reliability.

Payments

No products are currently sold through this website.

Connectors and APIs (mcp.barbaros.dev)

Some of our projects expose a public API, callable by AI assistants such as Meta Muse (through the Muse Connector Platform) or by anyone directly, at mcp.barbaros.dev. None of them needs an account, a password, or an API key.

What we receive: only what a request contains. For PrivacyMatrix that is an app name, a question, or a search string. For the Unpolished polish check it is the text you ask it to check: your own writing, which may contain personal information.

What happens to it: each request is answered in memory and then discarded. Nothing you send through a connector is stored. A polish check sends back, to you only, counts and a few short excerpts of your own text so you can see which words were found.

Logs: the web server keeps access logs (IP address, path, status code) for 14 days, the same as the rest of this site. The connector application keeps its own logs (time, path, status code, response time; no IP address and no content) for up to 30 days. Both are used only for security and reliability. What you send in a request is never logged.

Sharing: we do not sell or share this data with third parties. It is not used for advertising or to train any model.
